CHEGODILU -

This is an Indian snack from the kitchens of Andhra Pradessh, which I experimented in my kitchen today.

Ingredients :-

Water - 1 cup
Rice floor - 1 cup
Salt - to taste
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Ajwain / Carrom seeds - 1/4 tsp
Sesame seeds - 1/2 tsp
Ghee / Clarified butter - 1 tsp
Crushed curry leaves - 8 to 10
Oil - to fry



Method :- 

1. Heat water in a pan and add in it red chilli powder, turmeric, ajwain, curry leaves, sesame seeds, and salt
2. Give it a quick stir and add ghee in the same.
3.  Add the floor in it and give a quick mix and remove from the flame. See to it that its very evenly mixed
4. Moisten the palm and knead the hot dough in to nice even dough.
5. Grease the palm and take a ball of the dough and with hands roll it into a little thick noodles.
6. Cut the same into 2" size and press the ends together making it a ring
7. Fry the rings in medium hot oil till crisp.
